President Trump threatens to stop giving aid to countries that send illegal aliens to United States

Earlier this week, President Trump threatened to stop giving aid to countries that send us illegal aliens during a talk to the National Federation of Independent Businesses.

“We want to end the border crisis by finally giving us the legal authorities and the resources to detain and remove illegal immigrant families altogether and bring them back to their country. We have to bring them back to their country.

Now think of all that aid that we give some of these countries, hundreds of millions of dollars we give to some of these countries, and they send them up.

Well I’m going to go, very shortly, for authorization that when countries abuse us by sending their people up, not their best, we’re not going to give anymore aid to those countries. Why the hell should we? Why should we?”

Why should we indeed.  After a quick check up from the official USAID website we are giving hundreds of millions of dollars to countries who are doing nothing to stop this.  Here’s just a couple to get your blood boiling:

Note that 2017 and 2018 are only partially reported years so the data above comes from the last fully reported year which was 2016.  Pull all the money.  Put it toward the wall.  Insanity to continue to fund countries that are blatantly against our own interests.  I’ll probably do a longer post on this in regards to all the countries we’re giving aid that do not align with our interests at all.

  1. This only shows direct cash payouts from the US government. It misses the much larger untaxed remittances that invaders send back to their home countries. American taxpayers and consumers end up paying for the invaders to be able to send those through local and state social services.

In other words, an American worker typically makes $1 and pays $0.45 to federal, state, and local taxes. What is left is typically saved and then spent locally to reinvest in the local economy. An invader makes $1 and pays maybe $0.15 in taxes for food and gas etc. The invader then lives locally with another $0.05 – $0.15. The remain $0.70 to $0.80 per dollar is sent back. That money is not taxed by at the state or feds, re-invested into the local American economy, and cannot be shown to benefit Americans or accounted for by the Government Accountability Office. It’s just gone from the US system.

  2. Hi Devin,

Yeah I have another blog coming about that very point. Most people really have no idea that what President Trump says really is true, mainly that by capturing more of those remittances you could fully fund the wall (and have Mexico pay for it) in a very short amount of time.
