Porn is degenerate: bad for you, and destroys society

It has been written about many times before but it always deserves a revisit or refresher; watching copious amounts of porn is terrible for you.  And as we have seen with many other topics of late, whether it is the mainstream media, the pharmaceutical industry, or Google and YouTube censoring search results and/or promoting certain websites over others, there’s probably a much darker side to it as well, which is really more what I’m interested in with this post.

But it would be foolish not to reiterate the former point too.  Watching porn on a regular basis is not healthy.  It can lead to a loss of libido and the ability to get and maintain an erection.  Repeated dopamine hits reduces the stimulation and can lead to needing to find more and more, kinkier and kinkier videos to keep the sensation up.  It is probably a similar feeling to drug addicts chasing that first high.

But is there really more to this?  Is there really anything more dark or sinister going on or any worse than just a few teenagers not being able to perform?  Knowing what we know about how the likes of Facebook, Google, YouTube, Apple, etc censor what we see or skew search results to drive certain narratives, would it really be that surprising if the same were happening with porn as well?  I don’t think many people realize the level of programming that goes on in this country.  The subliminal messages in every commercial (or really shitty attempts at it, Gillette).  We have targeted ads thrown at us in our social media and email accounts.  A constant bombardment of sensory input, much of it with a very specific goal or idea in mind.

Back to the porn.  Pornhub is one of, if not the biggest, porn sites on the internet.  In 2018 they had over 33.5 billion visits.  Billion.  With a B.  And this was a 5 billion visit increase from 2017…not a trivial amount.  Which probably points to a more worrying trend in that the amount of porn being watched is probably going up, not going down.  Pornhub has a section called “Insights” and it is part of a very detailed report they have put out for the past 6 or so years.  It offers details on search trends, broken down by category and country, average visit times, and much more.  As mentioned before, porn destroys not only the individual man but society on the whole as well.  An increase towards more porn being watched, if current trends continue, does not bode well for society.  Birth rates are already at a 30-year low.  Testosterone levels are dropping.  Porn may be causally linked to both of these.  Even if it is not it does not portend good things in the long term.

But is it even worse than that?  Porn is already a cheap dopamine hit to the system…a superficial payoff with none of the work or buildup required.  Generally speaking the more porn one watches, the more desensitized they get to it as well.  Which requires watching more porn, or perhaps kinkier porn.  Might this also be an area one could control one’s thoughts and habits and desires?  Let’s take a look at some of the most common porn search terms on Pornhub through the years, starting with 2013.

For all intents and purposes that looks like a pretty normal set of search terms.  Something is noticeably different starting in 2014…

Something you’ll notice with a lot of these searches throughout the years is they have a partially cultural input to them.  Other terms really get you wondering psychologically.    But the whole, mom, step mom, step sister thing is bad.  Incest porn is not healthy.  There is no place for it in society.  Whether or not it’s free or legal to do it or post videos on it doesn’t mean we should.  I was thinking perhaps it was caused by Game of Thrones and the incest subplot going on in there.  You’ll see in the later years video games often drive top results too.  Or the fact that Stormy Daniels was the most searched for porn star in 2018.  This incest trend continues all the way through 2018.

Incest porn, or “taboo” as they sometimes call it, continued to surge in 2016 taking 3 of the top 6 spots overall.  Notice overwatch jumping up there.  Every year there’s a porn star or genre that surges because of current events or currently hot games or TV shows.  Most die out after a year or two.  The incest thing keeps chugging along though.  2017…

Incest continued to keep 3 of the top 6 slots in 2017.  There is a bit of an anomaly in 2018 but it is mostly consistent…

This one is a bit stranger.  Mom and step mom are still top 10 but step sister disappears completely.  Note that in all previous years that nothing in the top 10 ever drops so utterly off the map that you don’t see it in the next year.  It is only ever one of the lower genres that gets knocked off by the game of the moment (fortnight) or something along those lines.  It doesn’t really add up.

Maybe something else is at play.  Maybe the search result really is just going down.  Though I find that hard to believe when I click on “This week’s most viewed porn videos in US” and literally the first video is entitled: “Bratty Sis – Cock teasing StepSis Gets P**** Creamed S7:E6”.  Yeah it’s old-fashioned but I put the asterisks there.  Three of the top six most viewed are incest related, the other two being step mom/son fantasies.

This is not normal.  This is not healthy.  I don’t care if it’s technically legal to show this stuff.  It is not healthy for the individual or for society at large.  In 2019, would you really be so flabbergasted or shocked to learn that maybe they’re also trying to brainwash you with all the porn you’re watching?  And who knows for what twisted, perverted, fucked up purpose.  Encouraging incest IS NOT GOOD.  You can say that people can tell the difference, or that it would never lead anywhere, but are you really so sure of that?  Imagine planting that little seed into someone’s head every day that maybe it’s okay.  Oh, it’s just a step sibling, not blood related.  Oh, it’s just fantasy.  Is it really so far fetched to see that maybe some people would take that as enough of a cue to rationalize it being okay?  Where do we end up long term if that seed ever takes root?

These people are trying to destroy the nuclear family.  They are trying to introduce degeneracy and destruction into your lives.  These are dark, sick, twisted people.  If you haven’t already, take a look at the work that Jamie Dlux is doing reporting on the absolute abhorrent stuff coming out of Hollywood.  It’s not like the porn industry is any cleaner.  Suffice to say I’m a little suspicious with the amount of twisted incest porn and interracial sex videos posted (especially when the latter is a search term that is never in the top searches yet these videos seem to be pushed incessantly hard).  At the very least, consider the possibility that maybe there’s more going on here than just an innocent fap.
