California poses an existential threat to the United States

California governor Gavin Newsom has decided to pull nearly 400 National Guard troops from the border.

LOS ANGELES — Gov. Gavin Newsom of California announced Monday that he would withdraw nearly 400 of his state’s National Guard troops from deployment along the border with Mexico and assign them to other duties.

The step to rescind state authorization for the border deployment is a sharp rebuke of President Trump’s continued warnings that undocumented migrants present a national security risk to the United States. It follows a similar move last week by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico.

Under a “general order” that Mr. Newsom plans to sign, 110 California National Guard troops will be redirected to support the state’s central fire agency, Cal Fire, and another 100 will work on statewide “intelligence operations” aimed at international criminal drug gangs.

Mr. Newsom is also seeking to expand the state’s Counterdrug Task Force with 150 National Guard troops, which would require funding from the Department of Defense.

Since his election in November, Mr. Newsom has emphasized a progressive vision for California and the country, pitching his state as a leader on issues like immigration, climate change and income inequality. He promised last month to “offer an alternative to the corruption and incompetence in the White House.”

Mr. Newsom is expected to speak publicly about the redeployment during his State of the State address on Tuesday, with sharp criticism of the president’s immigration policies and rhetoric.

It is becoming increasingly clear that if the United States is to survive it would do a lot of good by building a wall that covers not only the southern border but that extends northwards to exclude California.  This is absolute madness, and petty virtue signaling.  This clown, who thinks he’s “offering an alternative to the corruption and incompetence in the White House” has some explaining to do.  The United States is on pace to have the worst year of illegal immigration since 2007:

Illegal immigration across the southwest border is on pace for the worst year since 2007 — or the last time the country began a massive wall-building spree — according to new Homeland Security numbers.

Four months into the fiscal year the Border Patrol nabbed nearly 201,500 people, compared to about 109,500 at the same point in the previous year. If that 84 percent surge holds, it works out to 733,000 immigrants crossing illegally for fiscal year 2019, which would be by far the highest numbers in more than a decade.

Please then explain to me why you must pull National Guard troops away during the worst illegal immigration crisis in over a decade to fight fires when the worst of the fires was months ago?

It is not hyperbole to say that California poses an existential threat to the United States.  Do you really think that these illegals just stay in California once they cross the border?  Of course not.  They spread throughout the country, taking jobs away from American citizens and lowering wages for everyone.  California also accounts for 1/3 of all welfare recipients in the United States, despite being just 12% of the total population according to 2012 statistics.  And when Californians get tired of California and leave, they bring their same destructive policies with them and vote the same exact way that ruined California in the first place.

Of course, Gavin Newsom won’t ever feel any of the negative effects of his BS virtue signaling.  No.  It will be average citizens who lose family members to illegal immigrants who were caught for crimes and released back onto the streets.  California is fast becoming the albatross around America’s neck that will drown it.  Cut it off.  If you live there, get out sooner rather than later.  It is sad it has to come to this.  But California is fallen.  Given the absolute horrific things that go on in Hollywood and what they allow into this country, it might not be worth saving anyway.  Something Biblical needs to, and will, happen.
