People find the rugged and narrow path to the truth in different ways. An honest seeker of the truth, if taken to its conclusion, finds Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He is Truth. For many this pursuit is something that happens due to a personal experience in life; perhaps a lost loved one or a feeling of emptiness and uncertainty. Others find it through the discovery or acknowledgment that evil, true evil, actually exists.
Acknowledging that evil exists can be a starting point too. Have you felt, especially as of late in the past few years, that it seems like things are speeding up, getting crazy and out of control, and that dark forces seem to be working overtime? You are not imaging things, evil is growing. It is the evil one who perpetuates this evil. He connives and uses those who have turned away from God’s word to do his bidding. Those who live in perpetual sin are willfully blinded.
3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
What sort of foundational beliefs would have to be rocked before you realized it was much darker forces at work? What if much of what you had learned that science claims to explain, or the official narrative presented to us from our government, were found to be completely made up? A sham? As we go on this journey we will see how and why all these things tie together and how it is clearly a force with motives beyond things like man’s greed of money or fame that will reveal true evil. And that may be what shows some that there is a light to combat this, that light being Jesus Christ.
Over the next few weeks and months we will explore this concept further. The wool has been pulled over our eyes to blind us from the truth of our world. This is ultimately done to keep us further away from Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Some of these truths may be uncomfortable. You may think it easier and more comforting to not hear these truths. Rest assured, it is always better to pursue and accept the truth than to live a lie. The longer we live in a lie, and the longer we live in sin, the harder it is to find the light again, and in fact we begin to acclimate to the dark and willfully stay in the dark.
19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.
Much of what may be posited on here is considered conspiracy theory, a term which is often thought of as a pejorative. Look and seek for yourself. But always seek the truth. The more people we can wake up, and show that the wool is being pulled over their eyes, the better chance they will see the ONLY way to combat this evil is Jesus Christ. It will be quite the journey indeed. Some of these truths will be earth-shattering to some. Take comfort in the fact that acknowledging the lies is the first step to taking the blinders off. It is a step on the right path to Truth. It is humbling. It can be scary to have some foundational truths shattered. Be humbled. Repent. We all live in sin, but we must do our best to get out of those old patterns and try to live a more Christ-like life. We truly have allowed ourselves to be blinded by the evil one by living in sin. Once the blinders come off, it is a continual, consistent, effort to avoid evil and live a life glorifying God.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,[a] in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
