Forever Victims

An opinion piece from AZCentral:

A few weeks ago, I attended a holiday party at a downtown Phoenix restaurant. I walked around to view the photographs on the wall.

Then a photograph caught my attention.

Friends said, “It’s coal miners at a pub after work.” It was a photograph of coal miners with blackened faces. I asked a Latinx and white woman for their opinion. They said it looked like coal miners at a pub after work. Then they stepped back, frowned and said it’s men in blackface.

I asked the waitress to speak with a manager. Instead, I spoke with a white restaurant owner. I explained to him why the photograph was offensive. Evidently, someone else had made a similar comment about the photograph before.

Yet, the photograph remained on the wall. He said he would talk to the other owners and get back to me. While leaving, I asked him had he spoke with the other owners. He had not spoken with them, but mentioned Google said it’s coal miners after work.

In art, everyone sees something different

Who determines what’s offensive?

For me, the coal miners disappeared and a film honored for its artistic merit, despite being the most racist propaganda films ever, D.W. Griffith’s “Birth of a Nation” (1915) surfaces, in which white actors appeared in blackface. The white owner saw coal miners in the photograph. Therefore, it was not offensive.

And a little further down:

Viewers cannot determine the intention of an artist’s work. Art also exposes society’s blind spots. Blackface is only a glimpse of a larger issue. The larger issue is the lack of representation of marginalized people and their voices in Phoenix.

Frequently, I enter art galleries and I am not represented in the art, which leads to uneducated curation for exhibitions. While shopping I am ignored because it is assumed I unable to purchase anything, or I am followed by a security guard because it is assumed that I am a threat to the store.

Each assumption is based on a stereotype. Blackface caricatures stereotypes of black people.

At the downtown Phoenix restaurant, my concern that the photograph of men in blackface was a threat to me and my face and voice were ignored.

A business’ photograph of men with blackened faces culturally says to me, “Whites Only.” It says people like me are not welcome.

Here is the photograph in question.

coalminers

Coal miners enjoying a beer after work: RACIST!!!

It really is quite sad.  I could not possibly live my life acting like a victim for every single thing I perceive as some kind of assault to my existence.  Newsflash, Rashaad, it is not all about you.  I’m sorry (no) that you aren’t represented in the art at the art gallery you went to.  Similarly, white people don’t sit around all day wondering how we can offend and marginalize black people.  We honestly don’t care that much about you.  Most of us just want to live our lives and be left alone.  You should do the same.

Perpetual victimhood is almost like a disease.  It is the ressentiment that Nietzsche frequently wrote about.  And it is the kind of internal negativity that can destroy a person.  Who wants to live their life as a victim anyways?  Why would you want to give anyone that much control over how you feel and act?  Stop being so pathetically weak and whiny.

Lastly, Rashaad, the world you are asking for would be a totalitarian shithole.  You could not possibly put out any art if the deciding factor was whether it offended someone or not.  That is completely insane.

The truth and free speech censorship

We discuss the importance of free speech a lot here.  There is a reason it was the first amendment ratified.  There has been a renewed effort to police, patrol, and prohibit free speech on the internet especially within the past few years.  It is something most people take for granted, as if there was no possible way that it could be taken away.

It should give one pause when specific topics or people are verboten to public discourse.  It is often said that “hate speech”, or the speech one disagrees with the most, needs to be vigorously protected the most in these battles.  And that is largely true.  Everyone should be open to the idea of seeing alternative viewpoints and hearing arguments s/he may have never considered before.  Those that think they are doing some greater good (or those using these idealistic people as puppets to further their nefarious agendas) by censoring speech cannot possibly know what is “good” for someone or what should or should not be read.  One’s opinions and ideas should speak for themselves and be subject to scrutiny.  If the idea is founded on truth it should stand up to the weight of critique.

There can be a variety of reasons why one may want to censor particular topics or speech outright.  The type of free speech censorship I want to talk about does not include obvious restrictions that should be put on children.  There are many topics that children should only learn about once they are of appropriate age.

Your “spidey-sense” should go off when certain topics are restricted or punishable by law if they are discussed.  It should raise one’s eyebrows when certain individuals or news outlets are banned or deplatformed en masse by the powers that be.

Ask yourself this: why would a specific topic or event be against the law if spoken out against?  The most obvious example of this is Holocaust denial, which is against the law in 17 countries.  You can literally go to jail if you deny the Holocaust.  Why?  The truth never needs to be covered up.  It can speak for itself.  YouTube has been particularly stringent on banning videos that question the exact details of the Holocaust as of late.  The Greatest Story Never Told used to be available on YouTube in its full form as well as partitioned out.  This is a movie about the life of Adolf Hitler and questions some of the events and the subsequent narrative of World War II and the Holocaust.  Nearly all of those videos have been removed.  Why?  Again, whether you agree or disagree with any of these topics we should all realize they should still be allowed to be shared and viewed.  Stupid ideas, ideas that are patently false, should be available for scrutiny.  They will make themselves look like jackasses if what they are saying is patently false.  That movie in particular does raise some very interesting questions and presents some compelling evidence that the official narrative may not be as true as we’re told (if at all).  It is not the responsibility of YouTube or the government to decide what is and is not the truth or what is best for us.  This level of censorship is on par with totalitarian regimes.  Do we really want to go down this road?

I did a cursory search this past week of many conspiracy theories that one hears about.  You used to be able to find countless videos on all of these topics.  Videos about Holocaust denial, Sandy Hook, Vegas, and the Parkland shooting conspiracy theories are nearly impossible to find now on YouTube.  Videos questioning the age of the pyramids and chem trails have been greatly reduced as well.  Many of these theories are patently ridiculous (looking at you, flat-earthers).  But you know what?  They should still be put up.  I’d be interested to hear their point of view and consider what they’re putting out there.  If it’s absurd they subject themselves to ridicule.  But maybe they’ll present different viewpoints or evidence not considered before.  And again, it’s not YouTube’s place to decide what is and is not acceptable for our viewing consumption.  The videos that were left on those topics were from YouTube approved sources like mainstream news outlets; hardly the institutions that will ever truly question the narrative.  Somewhat surprisingly, you can still find a decent amount of moon landing hoax conspiracy theory videos on YouTube…for now.  Not surprisingly, users exposing the pedophelia epidemic in DC and Hollywood like David Seaman and Jamie Dlux are banned outright or given strikes (and likely soon to be banned).

It gets worse.  This isn’t restricted just to historical or current events.  Questioning the validity of some scientific claims is now punishable too.  In Australia, you can now be thrown in jail for up to 10 years for speaking about the dangers of vaccines.  Why?  Isn’t that mildly suspicious?  If vaccines are so safe for us why should it be against the law to question their validity?  Especially in light of the fact that more than 50% of scientific studies cannot be reproduced by their peers.  We should be questioning scientific data and results more than ever now.  How long will it be before it’s against the law to question our contribution to climate change?

Whatever dark forces are conspiring to keep these topics off limits are doing themselves a disservice in that they are showing their hand and creating smoke in areas they wanted to be ignored altogether.  I, like most people, never really questioned the details of the Holocaust too much before hearing about those laws.  Similarly, in my recent posts about vaccine skepticism it was more of a curiosity for me.  Laws like this only make me more skeptical.

The truth does not need laws to protect it.  It can speak for itself.  Let people question the Holocaust or vaccines all they want.  If the evidence is ironclad that the events went down as said, or that a particular vaccine is safe for public consumption, then they do not need laws to prohibit speaking against them.  Prohibition only raises more questions.

Do not be afraid to pursue the truth.  It will never lead you astray.  Do not be afraid of what you will find.  Often times it is very ugly or depressing.  Often times the coverup is worse than the truth itself.  It is when we willingly turn away or hide it completely that we end up lying to ourselves, and when you can lie to yourself you open the door to darker evils.

Looking ahead into 2019

There was a lot to be learned in 2018 if one was paying attention.  Here’s a few observations that we can learn from to use in 2019.

The Programming Runs Deep

People really can be programmed.  The more someone listens to the mainstream media news, or talk shows, or Netflix, or a variety of other narrative-approved sources, the stronger the connection.  Scott Adams likens it to two movies on the same screen.  Essentially people’s opinions and thoughts can be altered by the information they allow to feed into their brains.  This sounds obvious on the surface.  But the level of control and the amount of control is scary.  Social engineering.  This has been known for a long time.  Check out Edward Bernays and the Art of Public Manipulation.

It starts small.  Maybe it’s an innocuous image or two of a multi-racial family in a print ad or TV commercial.  Innocent in and of itself until you realize what they’re trying to do.  Or maybe it’s a slight change of lettering or wording.  The Berenstain Bears instead of the Berenstein Bears.  Or inventing terms like Judeo-Christian.  Or how about using Google vs Bing for your search results.  If you can accept that maybe there is a deeper, darker, more sinister objective to these types of seemingly innocent things you can begin to see what is going on.

IMG_2749.JPG

This has gone on for years.  It is not a new phenomena.  But it has hit a tipping point with many people.  Changes are happening faster over a shorter time period now.  Heck, look at Democratic talking points from 2018 vs 2008.  A 2008 Democrat was very anti-war.  Now they are mad President Trump is pulling out of an illegal war in Syria.  Once they were for the “little guy”.  Now they are all about big corporation funding.  A fence/wall, which they were all for in 2006 and 2013, is all of a sudden now the hill they’re willing to die on.  Most Democrats weren’t for gay marriage until about 10 years ago either.  Nor were they for illegal immigration.

All this is to say to be careful about what you watch and what you allow your loved ones to watch.  They do not report the news in an unbiased manner.  They have an agenda.  Look up who owns the NY Times or the Washington Post.  Do you really think these billionaires don’t have an ulterior motive other than presenting the news and facts as they are?  Of course not.  It’ll only get worse.  And the inversion of our values will only get worse.

For better or worse, it’s made me question a lot of the things I once took for granted.  We’ll get into this more later this year but even things like the moon landing are now questionable events that I once took for undisputed truth.  You will never go wrong by pursuing the truth.  You may get led down dark paths and discover things you never wanted to know, but this is ALWAYS preferable to lying to yourself.  Once you lie to yourself you can rationalize all sorts of evil and undesirable behavior and actions.

Evil is Real

This ties in a bit with the first point.  True evil does exist out there.  We’ve spoken about the rampant pedophelia problem in DC and Hollywood.  One of the ways the Cabal controls people is through blackmail.  Subscribe to Owen Benjamin if you want a rational, down to Earth view of the dark, sinister shit that goes on in these circles.  He was in these circles but couldn’t give in to the evil that necessarily seems to go along with making it “big” in Hollywood or DC.

Evil is real.  Sometimes it’s easier to spot evil than it is to spot good.  For me, I began to really notice and take seriously true evil around the time of Pizzagate.  That link is a pretty good starting point.  Check out neonrevolt.com and crazydaysandnights.net to go down that rabbit hole a little bit more.  It is not for the faint of heart.  If you can accept that evil is a real thing then you are on the path to truth.  It has rejuvenated my interest in Christianity, something I took for granted but now realize how much it has shaped our civilization and we’ve all gotten a glimpse of what a post-Christian Western civilization world looks like without it.  It is not pretty.  If you can accept that true evil exists then that is a good starting point to seeing that truth and true good also exists.  This is the path to Christ.

Protect Yourselves

2018 saw an unprecedented amount of censorship and deplatforming.  Dissident personalities like Alex Jones were rigorously ostracized and attacked for having views that did not fit with the accepted narrative.  Alternative news sources and individuals were demonetized and deplatformed on Twitter and YouTube like never before.  This is not an accident.  They are trying to silence the voices of those who speak truth and offer alternative viewpoints to the thoughts and opinions they want you to think.  “They” being the Master of the Universe aka Silicon Valley and their Deep State backers.  The cat is out of the bag.  This isn’t some tinfoil hat conspiracy theory anymore.

It’s a dangerous time to be a conservative in America.  You can easily be doxxed and have your life ruined for sharing your opinions.  I debated using a pseudonym or not when starting this site.  It’s certainly a risk to use one’s real name these days.  Be careful with what you post.  Consider what is at stake and what you’re willing to risk to share your opinions.  One should always post and profess the truth.  Just be careful with whom and how you share the truth.  It is not an even playing field out there.

2019 is going to be a good year.  The pieces are in place to have the hammer drop on the swamp creatures in DC and Hollywood.  Let’s learn from what happened in 2018 and continue to grow and adapt.  The attacks that come at us will only make us stronger.  Our arguments and positions are sharpened from all the criticism and vitriol.  We are antifragile.

More Mainstream Media Lies

The MSM actions of this past week may be the easiest example to show to people how the mainstream media manipulates and outright lies to further their agenda and why we do not trust them.  The video below is the perfect supplementary evidence you can provide as ammo to back up the point too.  Watch the initial encounter first.  Then watch the Paul Joseph Watson video, which InfoWars zoomed in at the point of contact to show the contact.  The media took this as doctoring the video and lambasted the White House for posting a “doctored” video from InfoWars and used this as a rallying cry of sorts.

Objectively speaking, Jim Acosta was being completely disrespectful, rude, and unreasonable.  He asked a question and President Trump answered it.  He allowed one question and wanted to give other reporters a chance to ask one too.  Jim continued to press a new question, interrupting, speaking over the President and other reporters, and knocked away the hand of the intern trying to take the mic away.

The White House then took away Jim Acosta’s hard pass, essentially for making contact with the intern.  Though he should’ve had his pass revoked for his childish behavior overall.  They then posted a video which was initially posted by InfoWars showing the incident and zooming in at the point of contact.  The mainstream media, disingenuous as we know they are, decried that this was a doctored video that misrepresented the actual encounter.  In reality, the video wasn’t doctored at all, but rather just a zoom in to show the contact to prove the White House was correct in their assessment.

This is why we hate the mainstream media.  Consider the facts, watch for yourself, see how they reacted, and judge accordingly.  The video was not doctored.  Doctoring is changing or obscuring a video with the express purpose of misrepresenting what happened.  This does not do that.  If you play the videos side by side you can see they are the same exact speed (not sped up or slowed down to exaggerate contact) and the slight quality difference is due to compression of the video.  That’s it.  Notice how rather than chastise their own reporter, who was completely out of line, they try and put this on the President as if he is suppressing the press.  To drive a narrative.  And to wind up the crazies on the left who look for anything and everything to be mad at President Trump, whether it’s based in reality or pure fiction.  If this isn’t clear cut proof to show how purposefully deceptive they are, how they peddle lies to drive their narrative, then I don’t know what is.  Use this to show why we do not trust them.  They simply do not, it seems cannot, objectively report events anymore.  Everything they put out is through a lens to drive their agenda.  And then they beam out this message to their NPCs who chirp the message to the NPC masses.  Pull in the late night hosts to spread the lie too.  Disgusting.

A Heartfelt Thanks and Apology

WesternFront Trenches

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended World War I.  We now recognize this as Veteran’s Day and extend it to all who have served in our armed forces.

America would not be what it is without these brave men. It is not an exaggeration to say the world could very realistically have been overrun by far left political ideologies, whether it was Communism or National Socialism, without the aid of the United States.  The victory of World War II may arguably be the height of American exceptionalism.  Or one could argue perhaps our greatest height was when we put a man on the moon.  All a distant dream without the bravery and sacrifice of millions of men.  You can forget about the technological boom and the Internet age as well.  For this we are eternally grateful.

It feels as though an apology is in order as well.  The hard work, toil, and sacrifices of these men and of our ancestors has put us in a position never seen before in human history.  We have access to previously unimaginable wealth and opportunity.  But with this great potential comes great responsibility, and potential downfall.  It can be too easy to become complacent.  Lazy.  Unappreciative.  Forgetful.  What have we done with the opportunity our ancestors have left for us?  Would they be proud to see how our country has turned out?  What we’ve done with it?  What they died to protect?

ww2-40

One could make a very good argument that they would not be happy to see how it all turned out.  What good is it to defend your country against potential invasion only to allow them to invade in another manner just one or two generations later with nary a fight?  Or to allow the Constitution and the law to be so obfuscated that the original intent from the Founding Fathers is now completely up for reinterpretation?  Or what about rewriting history entirely?  Or to pretend this wasn’t a nation founded by God fearing men.

No.  Today we take their sacrifices for granted.  We’ve become far too comfortable.  Comfortable to the point that we forget why armies and the threat of force are needed.  So comfortable that in fact we even vilify these brave men and now women who are willing to fight and die for our freedoms.  Even worse, some now even question what American exceptionalism is, and rather than fight for ideals such as free speech many think they know better and try to police it.  We even look back at some of our greatest leaders and call them bigots, racist, evil.  Statues are torn down.  History is simply erased and forgotten, and the lessons that go along with it too.

The only way we will survive as a nation is if we start to fight back.  We’ve tried acceptance of any and all ideas.  Of multiculturalism instead of assimilation.  It doesn’t work.  They cry for tolerance and acceptance, and when we give it to them they turn it on us and try to vilify us.  Or shame us into thinking we shouldn’t be proud of our ancestry or our country.  These evil forces need to be squelched out and stopped completely.  Total victory, not tolerance, appears to be the only way to stem the tide.  We’ve practiced appeasement rather than deterrence in the cultural war for far too long.  It hasn’t worked.  Victor Davis Hanson wrote a great piece recently on the anniversary and had this to say which I think fits in nicely:

What can we learn from the failed armistice of 1918?

Keeping the peace is sometimes even more difficult than winning a war.

For an enemy to accept defeat, it must be forced to understand why it lost, suffer the consequences of its aggressions—and only then be shown magnanimity and given help to rebuild.

Losers of a war cannot pick and choose when to quit fighting in enemy territory.

Had the Allies continued their offensives in the fall of 1918 and invaded Germany, the peace that followed might have more closely resembled the unconditional surrender and agreements that ended WWII, leading to far more than just 20 years of subsequent European calm.

Deterrence prevents war.

If we continue to begrudgingly accept these toxic ideologies and ideas coming from the left, rather than fight hard and hit hard back against them, the end result will turn out much worse than the comparably minimal pain of stopping it in its tracks right away.  It’s much harder to deport somebody once they’ve embedded themselves into this country than turn them away at the border.  Or to put a hard foot down on the atrocities they try to put into children’s programming, or how they try to program our children in school.  Obamacare became much harder to stop once it was written into law.

There can be no more compromise.  The left has shown their true colors far too often for us to be fooled by it anymore.  We have to push back and give no quarter.  Now is our best shot.  We have a man in office more willing than perhaps any president of the past 100+ years to take a stand and also be big enough to be able to withstand the pressure the mainstream media and swamp throw at him.  He cannot do it alone.  Nor should he have to.  Let us do our part to make our ancestors proud, and to leave future generations better off and with a shot at the American dream as it was once imagined.  What an utter shame it would be to throw it all away in the name of multiculturalism, or virtue signaling, or whatever other guilt they try to foist on us.

The attack on free speech continues – Gab deplatformed

It probably didn’t make the mainstream news but Twitter alternative Gab’s hosting service shut them down over the weekend, apparently because the Pittsburgh shooter used Gab to make some bad comments.  Today is day 2 of their shutdown.

GabStatement

This is how it works folks.  Gab is being held to a different standard than the masters of the universe in Silicon Valley.  Gab does not claim to be a content creator.  They are merely a platform for individuals to express their freedom of speech.  And they are being penalized for one insane user and his comments.  How many days has Twitter been offline because of death threats to President Trump?  Or all the ISIS accounts?  Twitter has literally magnitudes more offenses it could have put to its name as Gab if you use the same standard on Twitter as they are on Gab.  Or remember that time a dude uploaded a video of him murdering another man onto Facebook?  Did Facebook receive any backlash?  Were they deplatformed?  Of course not.

This is simply dangerous.  It is stifling free speech.  If what is being said or where it’s being said does not fit with what the masters want they will shut it down, plain and simple.  Don’t like the ideas on Daily Stormer?  Deplatform.  Don’t like Alex Jones?  Deplatform.  Etc. Etc. Etc.

Google in China

About the only honest thing Google has done recently is remove “don’t be evil” from their code of conduct.  As of now Google is banned from China because of the Draconian laws China has put in place restricting free speech.  Those days may be numbered.  Via Daily Mail:

Google’s secretive plans in China are attracting renewed scrutiny from privacy advocates.

The tech giant is said to be building a prototype version of a censored Chinese search engine that links users’ activity to their personal phone number, according to the Intercept.

In doing so, it would be able to comply with the Chinese government’s censorship requirements, increasing the chances that such a product would launch there in the future.

Recent reports have suggested Google plans to build a censored version of its search engine in China, as part of a project called ‘Dragonfly.’

The app would have to comply with China’s rigid censorship laws, which would mean restricting access to content that government officials consider unfavorable.

Search terms about human rights, democracy, religion and peaceful protests will be blocked from the app.

Google.JPG

Freedom of speech should be one issue that both the left and the right can unite on.  Increasingly you’re seeing a call for increased censorship by those on the left to police so called “hate speech” or really anything that offends them.  It was refreshing to hear that both Dems and Republicans are teaming up at least a little bit on this one.

Google (Alphabet) needs to be broken up.  And there needs to be a serious discussion on considering that action for the likes of Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook as well.  At this point in their respective domains they really are the only option to reach massive amounts of people.  They use freedom of speech when it’s convenient for them, then the whole “we’re a private company so we can do whatever we want” in cases where they want to censor certain groups of people.  Facebook, Google, Twitter, YouTube have all come (or are about to come) to congressional hearings relating to privacy and censorship concerns.  They all lie through their teeth because they’re not under oath and by and large these hearings have no legal bite to them at all so these executives could care less that they’re lying.  Most of them have most of Congress in their pockets anyway.

But it’s clear there are biases here, as much as they don’t want to admit it.  And they are social engineering, and they are affecting how people think and what they think of those running for office, etc.  If all of these censorship issues truly are glitches, as they like to claim, why is it only conservatives are the only ones ever targeted?  Why haven’t we heard outrage from the left that they’re the ones being censored?  Watch a snippet of the video below of Google’s executives lamenting President Trump’s glorious victory the day after the election.  That session, one of their TGIF sessions, was an hour long, the entire meeting of which was to complain that Trump won.  It’s very hard to believe that the entire board of Google abhors Trump yet claim to be neutral when it comes to running their own damn search engine.

China under Communist rule has been a disaster for its people.  There should be some law that prevents American companies from helping a despotic government police and censor its people.  “Don’t be evil” being removed I’m sure wasn’t taken lightly.  And I’m sure they know what they’re doing is dark, sinister, and purely a cash grab at the expense of individual freedom of those in China.  Awful.

There’s a reason freedom of speech is the first amendment.  It is the most important.  This isn’t even debatable.  We’ve taken our liberties for granted for far too long in this country.  It is out of control now and action needs to be taken soon or we’ll rue the day we remained asleep behind the wheel.

9/11 – 17 years on

It’s been 17 years since the attacks in NYC and Washington DC.  You can argue about who did it, how it happened, or why it happened, but the fact remains that this dark event was a turning point in history.  It unleashed an unprecedented wave of surveillance, directly attacking our freedoms, and started a new volley of direct conflict and proxy wars in the Middle East, all in the name of “The War on Terrorism”.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

We would be foolish to not have been awoken from our slumber with this.  And really most people continued to stay asleep until 2016.  At the time of the attacks the Deep State was truly a conspiracy theory.  There are serious doubts that this was carried out the way the official narrative says it was.  Knowing what we know now in 2018 this hardly feels like a stretch at all.  As early as the Iranian coup in 1953 the CIA has had its tentacles all over the world, meddling.  The 9/11 attacks were justification for the Patriot Act, gave rise to the FISA courts, and initiated military action in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Remember WMDs?  More lies spun up out of this mess to justify wasting trillions of dollars spent in the Middle East.  When you ask yourself who benefited from 9/11 you could make just as good a case for the US Government agencies benefiting the most.

Perhaps the biggest piece of information to come out of the meteoric rise of President Trump is the very real and active presence of the Deep State.  You are no longer laughed out of the room by pointing them out as a real entity.  The treasonous actions of many in the FBI, CIA, and Department of Justice against President Trump and for Hillary Clinton before, during, and after the election have thankfully awoken more people.  The Deep State can no longer hide behind the conspiracy theory curtain.

IMG_1846

But now we are stronger than ever.  We have momentum, and we have the greatest leader of our time to uncover the rot within our government.  Only a man of President Trump’s caliber, unable to be bought, or controlled, learning and growing in perhaps the most cutthroat industry in the world, NYC real estate, could handle the unimaginable pressure of running the greatest country the world has ever known while fighting domestic enemies more dangerous than ever once thought possible.

We are doomed to be victims of history if we forget it.  Let us not forget.  And let us be strong enough to not turn away, or be willfully ignorant because it’s easier that way.  Edward R. Murrow put it best, “A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves”.  It is our ancestral duty to stop this.

A few news item updates

Two stories from the last few days have had some updates that warrant commenting.

This story about a few Muslims training children for school shootings in a compound in New Mexico again highlights the double standard some in this country continue to try and push which will lead us closer to a civil war.  Fox News has reported that the five defendants were let out on $20,000 bail and GPS trackers.

The state judge who on Monday set a $20,000 bail for five defendants arrested at a remote New Mexico compound where authorities say children were being trained to conduct school shootings has a history of issuing low bail to violent offenders.

Judge Sarah Backus, an elected Democrat, ordered the two men and three women to wear ankle monitors, have weekly contact with their attorneys and not consume alcohol or own firearms while on bail. She said although she was concerned by “troubling facts,” prosecutors failed to articulate any specific threats to the community.

The five suspects were arrested more than a week ago when police raided a squalid makeshift living structure near the Colorado state line in response to a report of children living in filth, severe hunger and dangers including a leaky propane tank. The 11 children found at the compound were placed in state custody.

So let’s recap: five people keep children in squalid conditions in a compound and teach them how to use guns allegedly for school shootings.  A disabled child is reported kidnapped by the father.  A body found at the compound is suspected to be the disabled child, reportedly killed during an exorcism to “cure” him.  Does this sound like a sane group of people who pose no harm to the community?  I have a hard time believing this same standard would be applied if it had been a militia in Michigan and Caucasian defendants.  Even if you forget about the firearms training, which I’m okay with and is perfectly legal, is it really safe or fair or sane to let people out who let a kid die under their care, didn’t report it, and buried him without notifying anyone?

Not surprisingly, the judge in this case is a Democrat who went to school in California and worked in San Francisco for many years.  The article also reports she has a history of loosening up bails and sentences for violent offenders.

An update from this story in the continued deplatforming of Alex Jones.  Twitter has officially banned Alex Jones for 7 days after a livestream telling his viewers to prepare to defend themselves.  Yep, that’s it.

The legacy media and big social media are trying to kill free speech outright.  This is obviously a concerted effort to deplatform InfoWars.  These companies didn’t all magically and independently decide to ban them on their own.  The Twitters, Facebooks, and YouTube’s of the world will continue to pretend they are all about free speech then shadow ban and outright block anyone who doesn’t support the narrative.  Straight up 1984.

Update: And it looks like they’re going after Stefan Molyneux next.

YouTube is Dying

And they’re doing it to themselves.  At one point in time I thought YouTube was more about cash flows for Google via advertising, but these days it seems more to be their propaganda arm.  In the latest of things YouTube is now doing that nobody asked for, they will be adding “fact checks” to videos on topics they think spread scientific misinformation, according to BuzzFeed.

YouTube is now adding fact checks to videos that question climate change, BuzzFeed News has confirmed, as a part of its ongoing effort to combat the rampant misinformation and conspiratorial fodder on its platform.

On July 9, the company added a blurb of text underneath some videos about climate change, which provided a scientifically accurate explainer. The text comes from the Wikipedia entry for global warming and states that “multiple lines of scientific evidence show that the climate system is warming.”

This new feature follows YouTube’s announcement in March that it would place descriptions from Wikipedia and Encyclopedia Britannica next to videos on topics that spur conspiracy theories, such as the moon landing and the Oklahoma City bombing. In doing the same for climate videos, the company seems to be wading into more fraught and complex intellectual territory.

Great.  Because Wikipedia is such a reliable source as well.  Is this the world we really want to live in?  Is this the kind of Internet that we want?  Forget whatever side of the climate debate you may be on.  Do we really want everything put through YouTube’s filter with what they think we should or should not be viewing?  How Orwellian can they get?

The Internet at its core is what free speech is supposed to be about.  You should be able to watch whatever the hell you want without being force fed garbage.  And it should be noted that climate science is a HIGHLY variable science.  Hell, most climate models ever created have been wrong.  This article from 2013 goes into how wrong.  The bottom line is whether you think it’s all humans doing or just MAYBE have a little skepticism about how much we are contributing or how badly things are, you should be able to watch whatever the hell you want without additional (mis)information being peddled to you.

The screws continue to be turned on our liberties.  As I wrote about earlier today YouTube is already starting to heavily censor or just plain deplatform views they do not agree with.  They’re becoming bolder in their moves, and thankfully it will also be their demise.  New platforms like BitChute are starting to grow at a huge pace now in part thanks to YouTube’s Draconian policies.  See the video below from Razorfist as he had a great take on it today.  And lastly, if you’re looking for a Wikipedia like website, give Infogalactic a try.  A much more honest version of Wikipedia.
